Jungle (Forest) Eco-System..!!

Since the beginning of time, Nature has developed it's own ecosystem which is intricately connected and evolving. Numerous food-chains were in place and functioning impeccably before the existence of humans. Does that mean that humans had no part to play in the development of the natural ecosystem ? They definitely did not ! The ecosystems that were developed by nature were not only for the survival of human species but for the survival of all the species known & unknown to us. The Jungle ecosystem is an example of a multilayer Eco-System where we can see how various types of plants (small, medium, tall, underground, creepers, climbers) live together in symbiotic harmony.  Birds, insects and reptiles take care of pest control. If we apply a similar system in multilayered farming and cropping, keeping in mind the symbiotic relationships between the different species, then Natural Farming is possible. In fact, many farmers have already started using these natural techniques in th

Food is our Medicine !!

Food is one of the basic requirements of living things and therefore, nature has already made provisions for its availability.  As practiced by our old Rishis, it's best to consume food in its natural state. Other than human beings, all other creatures consume food in its original form. We humans cook and process food and add a number of ingredients to make it edible and tasty. As long as this processing does not involve the application of harmful chemicals, it's alright to do it. But what about the excessive harmful chemical fertilizers that are used during the cultivation of crops ? Wouldn't high doses of synthetic fertilizers pollute the ecosystem and poison our food ? Certainly ! In fact, these chemicals have already started showing their adverse effects on our health ! Therefore, it is of utmost importance that we switch to food items that are naturally cultivated. This is the only way in which we can align our health with the principles of Nature. Ultimately, the surv
